Venezuela and Columbia Gear Up as USA Positions to Attack

| 0

Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro deployed ships and drones along its coast, and two of its F-16s flew over the USA destroyer USS Jason Dunham, after Donald Trump ordered fighter jets and Navy vessels in position to threaten Venezuela.

Trump told reporters if they overfly a Navy ship again “they’ll be shot down.”

Colombia and Venezuela moved troops to their shared border.

Like the Pentagon, Columbia and Venezuela said their troop movements are for operations to clamp down on drug trafficking. As with the Pentagon, the deployments and troop movements are not consistent with anti-drug operations.
