DJT Positions Fighter Jets at Puerto Rico and Ships in Caribbean
Donald Trump ordered 10 F35 stealth fighter jets to be stationed at Puerto Rico, an appropriate staging ground for attacking Venezuela, and several Navy vessels in the southern Caribbean so they will be poised to attack, too.
The Pentagon says all of this is to clamp down on drug trafficking. A look at what has been deployed screams otherwise.
- Three Aegis-class destroyers: USS Sampson, USS Gravely and USS Jason Dunham
- Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser: USS Lake Eerie
- Three-ship Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group carrying about 2200 troops of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit
- Fast-attack submarine USS Newport News
