USA Aerospace Company Maxar Technologies Cuts Off Commercial Service to Ukraine

USA aerospace company Maxar Technologies cut off Ukraine’s access to its commercial satellite images as a consequence of Donald Trump’s ban on sharing intelligence information with Ukraine.

Ukraine has been using Maxar’s imagery to track Russian troop movements and the results of military strikes.

The USA’s decision to cut off intelligence to Ukraine became known 5 March 2025. The following day, France offered to provide intelligence data to Ukraine instead.
