NIH Mass-Terminating Hundreds of Active Research Grants

The National Institutes of Health has begun unprecedented mass termination of hundreds of active research grants.

Research projects targeted include those that involve studying

transgender people
gender identity
diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the scientific workforce
environmental justice
any other research that might be perceived to discriminate on the basis of race or ethnicity
climate change
universities in China

NIH is the largest funding source in the world for biomedical research.
