Norway More Than Doubles Aid to Ukraine to $7.8 billion for 2025

Norway’s parliament agreed to increase aid to Ukraine from 35 billion krone to 85 billion krone ($7.8 billion USD), more than doubling aid for 2025.

Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre said “We are increasing support because there is a need for it, and it is a solid contribution to peace and stability in Europe. It is a very, very high amount. It is needed in the defense struggle that Ukraine is in.”

Støre also criticized actions by Donald Trump and his regime in the past week.
