ESA Ariane 6 Rocket Successfully Reignites New Engine In Space
The European Space Agency’s Ariane 6 rocket successfully launched and deployed a new French military satellite, a mission that included successful reignition of its new Vinci engine in space.
The mission concluded by steering its upper stage to disintegrate during re-entry. This avoided leaving “space junk” behind and avoided potential harm from an uncontrolled re-entry.
