| 0

Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick disbanded two advisory committees in which demographers, statisticians and advocacy group leaders volunteered their technical expertise to the Census Bureau.

The disbanded groups were the Census Scientific Advisory Committee and the 2030 Census Advisory Committee. They were notified that Commerce Secretary Howard “have been fulfilled.” The Census Bureau operates under the Commerce Department.

The experts in these groups worked free of charge except for travel and lodging expenses to attend meetings.
