DJT Removes Nearly All Immigrants from Guantánamo Bay

After Donald Trump touted his intention to put 30,000 immigrants at Guantánamo Bay (Gitmo) as part of his mass deportation scheme, his regime flew out nearly all the immigrants who had been sent there.

Most were sent to Honduras. One was returned to the USA.

In response to a lawsuit, the regime said 178 immigrants were at Gitmo. At Gitmo, immigrants did not have access to legal assistance and not being on USA soil made it unclear whether other rights would be easily abridged.
