Performance of “Hamilton” Withdraws from Kennedy Center

Broadway musical mega-hit Hamilton canceled its upcoming appearance at the Kennedy Center due to the Center’s partisan policies instituted after Donald Trump forcibly took it over.

Trump is intensely hostile toward anything he regards as “woke,” such as Hamilton. If the show had not withdrawn, Trump was likely to wait until the last minute when many of its expenses were locked in and then cancel it himself.
