DJT Fires Half the Kennedy Center Board and Makes Himself Its Chair
Donald Trump fired half the board of directors of Washington, DC’s prestigious John F. Kennedy Center.for the Performing Arts, then had the remaining board members make him the chair of the board.
Trump also fired the Center’s president Deborah Rutter, who already intended to step down seven months later. Rutter was replaced with Trump acolyte Richard Grenell from Trump’s first term in office.
