Tesla Takedown Events Surge

Non-violent protests besieged Tesla facilities in at least 253 cities around the world to express disapproval of what the company’s CEO Elon Musk is doing to shred the USA’s governmental institutions and programs.

The event follows weeks of grassroots organizing to encourage people to boycott the brand, sell the company’s vehicles if they have one, and sell any shares of its stock that some may hold. Tesla vehicles are being traded in at an accelerated pace. Demand for the vehicles is dropping. Across Europe, it is down by about half. In Germany, 94% of people polled say they would not consider a Tesla vehicle.

Tens of thousands of people, reportedly at least 200,000 globally, took part in the protests. Signs waved included:
