Supreme Court Leaves in Place DC Ban on High Capacity Gun Magazines

The Supreme Court allowed a longtime District of Columbia restriction which prohibits gun magazines with a capacity of more than 10 rounds.

The court usually turns aside gun control and did so with a similar law in Rhode Island only days earlier. This month it has left lower court decisions in favor of some limitation on gun ownership in place in DC and Maryland, places where the Justices work or may live.
