Special Counsel Releases Volume 1 of Report

Volume 1 of the report of Special Counsel Jack Smith investigation in Donald Trump’s election interference case was released to the public. Volume 2 remained non-public.

The report said “the admissible evidence was sufficient to obtain and sustain a conviction at trial,” “but for Mr. Trump’s election and imminent return to the Presidency.”

Volume 2 regards Trump allegedly keeping classified documents after the end of his first term of office. It was not made public due to prosecutions in progress against other defendants in the case.
