Second Judge Blocks DJT’s Attempt to Limit Birthright Citizenship

Federal District Court Judge Deborah Boardman became the second to temporarily block Donald Trump’s executive order that seeks to curtail birthright citizenship in contravention of the 14th Amendment to the Constitution.

Boardman issued her preliminary injunction with nationwide scope in a lawsuit brought by immigrant rights groups CASA and Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project, and a handful of pregnant women.
