Scientists Plan to Publish “State of Nature” Report in Defiance of DJT Cancellation
The first-ever nationwide assessment of the state of nature in the USA will be completed and released despite Donald Trump’s attempt to quash it.
More than 150 scientists have been working on it, compiling and integrating a wide range of information. Its first draft was almost finished when Trump send notification to discontinue work on the National Nature Assessment.
The scientists have regrouped and decided to finish it and publish it anyway, on their own. Without the need for reviews and approvals from government departments, they may even beat the expected 2026 release date.
