DJT Pressures Romania to Lift Restrictions for Andrew Tate
Donald Trump is pressuring Romania to lift travel restrictions on Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan Tate.
The brothers and two Romanian women await trial on human trafficking, sexual misconduct and money laundering charges. Andrew also faces a charge of rape. The brothers have been under house arrest in Romania, although Andrew began to be allowed to travel within Romania in January 2025. They are dual USA-UK citizens, and are influential in conservative social media.
A UK court has ordered seizure of more than £2 million in assets for unpaid taxes.
