Rubio Halts More Foreign Aid Including Aid to Ukraine

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stopped most foreign aid grants for 90 days, going beyond the scope of Donald Trump’s executive order to do so and apparently stopping funding for military aid to Ukraine, Jordan and Taiwan.

Rubio’s order takes effect immediately. It stops dispersal of foreign aid funds already approved by the federal government. Recipients exempt from the order are primarily Israel and Egypt.
