Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) Under Investigation for Assault

Congressional Representative Cory Mills (R-FL-7th) is under investigation regarding alleged assault of a 27 year old woman in Washington, DC, 19 February 2025 around 13:00.

The complaint says he “grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door.” An officer of D.C. Metropolitan Police Department noted “bruises on her arm which appeared fresh.” Police reports indicate some confusion about whether or not the incident should lead to arrest.

MPD sent an arrest warrant to the U.S. Attorney’s Office two days after the incident. When the story broke 25 February 2025, it had not been signed.
