Religious Groups Sue DJT Against Immigration Arrests in Houses of Worship

| 0

In federal District Court, 27 religious groups sued against Donald Trump for rescinding the traditional sanctuary of houses of worship against immigration raids by federal agents.

The suit says fear of raids has reduced attendance at worship and church programs. This infringes on the groups’ religious freedom to to minister to people regardless of who they are and where they came from.

Together, the groups represent millions of Americans.

This lawsuit is parallel to another filed earlier by Quakers, and joined by Baptists and Sikhs..
