OPM Tells CFPB to Reinstate Fired Veterans and Military Spouses

| 0

The Office of Personnel Management directed the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to reinstate fired employees who are veterans (disabled or not) or spouses of members of the military.

Reinstated workers will remain on administrative leave while a legal challenge is heard against Acting CFPB Director Russell Vought’s intention to fire up to 95% of CFPB staff. Vought is a primary author of Project 2025 which the regime is using as its roadmap.

Mass firings at CFPB that are now to be partially reversed were ordered by OPM. Reinstated workers will have no break in service in their personnel files, and no interruption in pay and benefits. They will regain access to email and computer systems.
