10% of Workforce Fired from NOAA and NWS
Hundreds of federal probationary employees were fired from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, including National Weather Service meteorologists.
The firings appear to be in two tranches, 500 in the first and 800 in the second, taking about 10% of NOAA’s workforce.
