First MAHA Report Riddled with Errors and Fabrications

| 0

The first report from Donald Trump’s Make America Healthy Again Commission, released last week after only three months to prescribe government priorities regarding chronic health issues in children, turned out to be riddled with errors and outright fabrications.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. released the report with fanfare, saying it shows such issues are due to poor diet, insufficient exercise, stress, excessive prescription of drugs and  environmental chemical exposures.

The report totaled 78 pages with 522 references to source material including studies, government reports and news articles. As the report came under public scrutiny, it turned out that several references were incorrect, misrepresented or non-existent.

Errors were first announced by NOTUS, which is a non-profit non-partisan news site established by Politico publisher Robert Allbritton. NOTUS detailed some of the most egregious misrepresentations and falsehoods.
