British Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer hosted a European summit about Ukraine’s resistance to Russia’s invasion, and emerged to announce the outline of a plan to support Ukraine.

This summit of European leaders about the war between Ukraine and invader Russia, and European defense on the whole included leaders and representatives from Canada, Czechia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Tomania, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, European Commission, European Council and NATO.

At a press conference after the summit, Starmer outlined a plan to support Ukraine and continue economic pressure against Russia. He said Ukraine must be involved in any peace negotiations with Russia, and a peace agreement must provide for Ukraine’s security and sovereignty.

Europe will continue helping Ukraine militarily. The UK is willing to commit troops and air support. The UK will also provide a £2.2 billion loan backed by revenues from Russian assets that are frozen in the UK.

Starmer said he, Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron have agreed the UK and France, perhaps with one or two other countries (notably Ukraine), will devise a peace plan for Ukraine to be discussed with the USA.
