Canada Imposes More Sanctions on Russians and Paramilitary Groups

Canada imposed new sanctions on 31 individuals and paramilitary groups that support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the sanctions after finishing at the third emergency European summit since it became clear that the USA has switched sides and now aligns with Russia.
