DOJ Deletes Database that Tracked Police Misconduct

| 0

The Department of Justice shut down and deleted a database that tracked police misconduct.

The database was initially proposed by Donald Trump during his first term as President after police murdered George Floyd in 2020. It was launched after Joe Biden took office as President. Last month Trump revoked Biden’s executive order implementing it.

The database contained 4,790 records of misconduct over the timespan 2018 to 2023.
