CDC Vaccine Advisory Panel Meeting Indefinitely Postponed

| 0

Donald Trump’s regime ordered the Centers for Disease Control to indefinitely postpone the next public meeting of its Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices.

The panel makes recommendations to CDC for the agency’s vaccination schedules for both children and adults. It also helps set which vaccinations are covered by health insurance and which can be provided free of charge to some children.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is the newly appointed head of the Department of Health and Human Services, under which CDC operates. Although his own children are vaccinated, he is a prominent opponent of vaccinations for everyone else.

The meeting was originally set for 26-28 February 2025. The public comment period ahead of the meeting was set for 3-17 February, but the regime would not grant permission for CDC to open it.

The panel may be targeted for elimination under an executive order by Donald Trump which listed several federal advisory groups for elimination and set 30 days for making a list of more to shut down.
