DOD Guts Efforts to Reduce Civilian Harm from USA Military Operations
Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth is gutting efforts focused on reducing civilian harm in USA military operations, even though shutdown requires Congressional approval.
Programs affected include such units as as Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response, and Civilian Protection Center of Excellence.
