DJT Revokes Aim to Make Half of New Cars Electric by 2030
Donald Trump revoked a non-binding Biden executive order that called for half of all new vehicles sold in 2030 to be electric.
This is part of Trump’s stated desire to roll back environmental protections, including funding for installation of electric vehicle charging stations and implementation of auto pollution standards set by his predecessor Biden last spring.
