DJT Rescinds 78 of Biden’s 160 Executive Orders

Donald Trump rescinded 78 of Joe Biden’s 160 Presidential executive orders.

Rescinded orders include but are not limited to:

  • Strengthened nondiscrimination protections for LGBTQ Americans and allowed transgender people to serve openly in the military.
  • Promoted voter registration, including longstanding federal agencies’ voter registration programs authorized under federal laws such as the State Department and Defense Department helping eligible military members, and helping other USA citizens living abroad to vote.
  • Affirmed the standard census practice of complying with the 14th Amendment by counting all people, not excluding anyone due to immigration status. Altering the census to exclude or discourage some people from being counted would change Congressional seat apportionment as well as violate the Amendment.
  • Promoted pay equity and transparency in federal contracting.
  • Combated discrimination on the basis of gender identity or sexual orientation.
  • Advanced racial equity and supported underserved communities.
  • Established a White House Gender Policy Council.
  • Provided some protection against displacement for employees of government contractors when one federal contract is replaced by another.
  • Protected worker health and safety.
  • Promoted USA leadership on global health security. Promoted a sustainable public health workforce for COVID and other biological threats.
  • Expanded access to care and treatments for COVID.
  • Strengthened Medicare and the Affordable Care Act (commonly called Obamacare).
  • Lowered costs for numerous medications.
  • Reformed the prison system to reduce the use of privately owned prisons.
  • Addressed the climate crisis.
  • Promoted a regional framework to address causes of human migration, manage such migration and safely process asylum seekers. Addressed climate-driven migration.
  • Established a White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships.
  • Promoted diversity, equity and inclusion in a variety of ways.
  • Implemented the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
  • Addressed transnational organized crime.
  • Promoted the arts, humanities, museums and libraries.
  • Addressed safe development and use of artificial intelligence (AI).
  • Established an order of succession within several federal agencies.
  • Certified Cuba as NOT a state sponsor of terrorism.
