DJT Inaugurated as 47th USA President

Donald Trump was inaugurated as the 47th President of the USA.

Due to a late schedule change, the ceremony occurred indoors in the Capitol Rotunda. Trump did not place one hand on a Bible to swear the oath of office. Jumbotrons were supposed to show the inauguration on huge screens for attendees who were outdoors where the ceremony was originally supposed to be held. Jumbotrons outdoors were cancelled. Supporters watched on screens in Capital One Arena.

Prime spots in the crowded rotunda went mostly to billionaires: Alphabet (Google) CEO Sundar Pichai, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, and Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

Also attending were right-wing media and Fox “News” mogul Rupert Murdoch, podcaster Joe Rogan, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk, far-right President Javier Milei of Argentina, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and a close ally of Chinese President Xi Jinping.
