DJT Holds First Cabinet Meeting of This Term, Including Elon Musk

Donald Trump held the first Cabinet meeting of this Presidential term, and added “special employee” Elon Musk who is not a Cabinet member.

Mainstream media still consistently refer to Musk as head of the Department of Government Efficiency, which is a subset of a White House IT team rather than a government department. Virtually no one refers to Amy Gleason as the head of DOGE despite the White House announcement that she is responsible for the mayhem the group has been unleashing across the federal government.

Musk chaired the Cabinet meeting.
