DJT Fires Head of NSA and Cyber Command After Right Wing Conspiracy Theorist Laura Loomer Questions His Loyalty

| 0

Donald Trump fired General Timothy Haugh, who headed both the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command, and his deputy deputy Wendy Noble, a day after meeting with right wing conspiracy theorist Laura Loomer who questioned Haugh’s loyalty to Trump.

Trump denied that Loomer had anything to do with these firings. Last week, Haugh testified to Congress about the episode in which National Security Adviser Michael Waltz accidentally added a journalist to a Signal chat about military strikes against Houthis in Yemen. Haugh was not involved in the chat but testified about the leak.

Trump also fired six of the staff for the National Security Council after meeting with Loomer, who questioned their loyalty.
