DJT Fires Advisory Boards of All Military Service Academies
Donald Trump fired the external advisory “boards of visitors” for all USA military service academies.
The boards help oversee the academies for the Army, Air Force, Navy, and Coast Guard. Each board is normally partly Presidential appointees and partly members appointed by Congress. It is not unusual for a President to replace a predecessor’s appointees, but it is unusual to fire an entire board.
Trump did not announce any replacements.
