DJT Fires 3 Democratic Members of Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board

Donald Trump fired all three Democrats who were on the Privacy and Civil Liberties Oversight Board.

Loss of chair Sharon Bradford Franklin and members Ed Felten and Travis LeBlanc guts the PCLOB. This diminishes oversight of the intelligence community, may disturb the balance between combatting terrorism and protecting civil liberties, and can lead to disruption in sharing of intelligence data with other countries.
