DJT Fires Coast Guard Commandant Linda Fagan

Donald Trump fired Admiral Linda Fagan from her post as Commandant in charge of the Coast Guard.

When Fagan stepped into her post in 2022, she became the first woman to hold it. She also arrived when Coast Guard recruitment was struggling. Under her command, it met its recruitment goals for the first time since 2017.
