DJT Creates Sovereign Wealth Fund to Buy TikTok

Donald Trump signed an executive order to create a sovereign wealth fund within a year that can be used to buy TikTok, establishing state-owned media in the USA for the first time.

Sovereign wealth funds are normally created and used by smaller countries that have abundant natural resources and surplus funds to invest, rather than the USA’s large debt.
