ACLU Sues to Block DJT’s Ban of Asylum
American Civil Liberties Union and other groups sued against Donald Trump’s executive order blocking entry into the USA by asylum seekers.
Advocates say the right to seek asylum is enshrined in law and treaties that the President does not have the authority to abrogate unilaterally, and that the “sham claim of an invasion” does not confer such authority.
