DJT Cancels All Remaining Federal Contracts with Harvard

| 0

Donald Trump’s White House ordered federal agencies to cancel all contracts they still have with Harvard University, which total about $100 million.

This is in addition to $2.65 billion in federal cuts already inflicted on Harvard and federal review of $9 billion in grants and contracts promised to Harvard over a span of several years.

Trump has cut off of threatened federal funding to Harvard in practically every way he can, is trying to have its accreditation rescinded, is trying to ban it from hosting international students, and ordered the Internal Revenue Service to revoke its tax exempt status. Even a judge in court has called the federal assault on the university clearly retaliatory.

Harvard is the oldest university in the USA and has the largest endowment.

A hallmark of authoritarianism is the destruction of education and sources of factual information. If Harvard can be destroyed, other places of higher learning will be presumed to have no chance of survival.
