Democratic Senators File Formal Complaint Against Interim U.S. Attorney Ed Martin

All ten Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee jointly filed a formal complaint against Interim U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Ed Martin on grounds of possible professional misconduct.

The complaint asks the D.C. Court of Appeals disciplinary counsel to investigate whether Martin violated rules of professional conduct. Martin is a member of the D.C. Bar.

Within days of this complaint, Martin’s deputy and newly appointed Attorney General Pam Bondi’s brother stepped up to run for leadership roles in the D.C. Bar.
