CIA Shares Employee Names in Unprotected Email

To satisfy an order from the Office of Personnel Management, the Central Intelligence Agency sent through unclassified email a list of employees hired in the last two years.

Some reports say the list was sent that way at the insistence of OPM even though that risks compromising the identities of agents, making them targets.

Workers hired in the last two years are on probationary status, which makes it easier to dismiss them.
