Arab-Backed Plan to Rebuilt Gaza Without Displacing Palestinians Supported by Leading European Nations, Rejected by Israel and USA

A $53 billion 5 year plan devised by Egypt, backed by other Arab nations, and supported by France, Germany, Italy and the UK was rejected by Israel and the USA.

Under the Egyptian plan, Gaza would temporarily be governed by a committee of independent experts under the supervision of the Palestinian Authority. International peacekeepers would be in Gaza. The Palestinian Authority and Hamas welcomed the plan. The various nations supporting it deemed it “realistic.”

Donald Trump wants the USA to take over Gaza and permanently eject its entire population.
