American Airlines Flight Aborts Landing to Avoid Departing Plane at DC Airport
At Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, an American Airlines flight aborted its landing at an air traffic controller’s instruction to avoid getting too close to a departing aircraft on the same runway.
American Flight 2246 from Boston went around again to land.
