8 with Commuted Seditious Conspiracy Convictions Must Have Court Permission to Enter DC

District Judge Amit Mehta, who oversaw the seditious conspiracy trial of several Oath Keepers whose sentences were commuted by Donald Trump, issued an order barring 8 of them from entering Washington, DC without permission from the court.

The order applies to Stewart Rhodes who is a founder of Oath Keepers, Kelly Meggs, Kenneth Harrelson, Jessica Watkins, Roberto Minuta, Edward Vallejo, David Moerchel and Joseph Hacket. The order came two days after Rhodes met with at least one lawmaker at Capitol Hill.
