White House Adviser Alina Habba Says Fired Veterans “May Not Be Fit To Have A Job”

Alina Habba, White House adviser and former personal lawyer for Donald Trump, was asked by reporters about fired federal workers, including veterans. She said she has no sympathy for them.

About military veterans who have been fired from federal jobs, she said, “We are going to care for them in the right way, but perhaps they’re not fit to have a job at this moment, or not willing to come to work.”

To put it mildly, this did not go over well with the public and especially with military veterans.
