USA Guts Funding for Tallinn Mechanism for Cyber Civilian Support of Ukraine

The USA’s withdrawal of funding for the Tallinn Mechanism, which coordinates cyber civilian support to Ukraine, cut its €200 million budget in half.

The mechanism magnifies cyber support of donors and foreign assistance for Ukraine. It reached its first anniversary in December 2024. Its lead nation is currently Estonia. Other participating nations are Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Netherlands, Canada, Poland, Sweden, Ukraine, United Kingdom, and until the past few days USA.
