USA Deports 119 of Various Nationalities to Panama
The USA deported 119 undocumented immigrants from various Asian countries from California to Panama in a military aircraft. Panama hopes to fly the deportees to their countries of origin at the expense of the USA.
Panama appears to have agreed to accept such immigrants after a visit by Secretary of State Marco Rubio the previous week, and also follows Donald Trump’s threats to take back the Panama Canal.
El Salvador and Guatemala have also agreed to accept deportees from the USA of other nationalities.
