Two Federal Prosecutors from Case Against Eric Adams are Escorted Out of Workplace

| 0

Federal prosecutors Andrew Rohrbach and Celia Cohen who worked on the corruption case against New York City Mayor Eric Adams were escorted out of their workplace by law enforcement officers and put on leave.

Donald Trump’s Department of Justice has been trying to dismiss the case against Adams in return for his assistance with raids to feed Trump’s mass deportation project. A number of prosecutors resigned rather than sign the request for dismissal. To get a signed dismissal request, Emil Bove who was then Acting Deputy Attorney General put remaining prosecutors in a room and promised to fire them all unless one of them signed the request.

The judge hearing the case is considering whether to accept the request.
