Toronto Bans City Workers from Using USA Based Rideshare

The City of Toronto banned its employees from using USA-based rideshare companies such as Uber and Lyft.

This is part of a nationwide surge of campaigns across Canada to buy Canadian products and services whenever possible and avoid products and services from the USA. The campaigns have sprung up in response to Donald Trump’s tariffs and threats to take Canada into the USA.
