Stock Markets Plunge More In Response to DJT Tariffs

USA stock markets fell again, still responding to Donald Trump’s sweeping tariffs.

The markets closed on for the day:

Dow Jones Industrial Average down 2,231.07 points (5.5%) to 38,314.86
S&P 500 down 322.44 points (6%) to 5,074.08
Nasdaq composite down 962.82 points (5.8%) to 15,587.79
Russell 2000 index of smaller companies down 83.51 points (4.4%) to 1,827.03

For the week:

Dow Jones Industrial Average down 3,269.04 points (7.9%)
S&P 500 down 506.86 points (9.1%)
Nasdaq composite down 1,735.20 points (10%)
Russell 2000 index of smaller companies down 196.24 points (9.7%)

For the year:

Dow Jones Industrial Average down 4,229.36 points (9.9%)
S&P 500 down 807.55 points (13.7%)
Nasdaq composite down 3,723.01 points (19.3%)
Russell 2000 index of smaller companies down 403.13 points (18.1%)
