Russia, China and Others Escalate Recruiting of USA National Security Employees
Russia, China and other foreign adversaries have escalated recruiting of USA federal workers in national security for their intelligence services.
Mass firings by Donald Trump and Elon Musk create a ripe recruiting environment for foreign intelligence groups. Both probationary workers at elevated risk of being fired and recently fired workers with security clearances are targets for their knowledge.
Naval Criminal Investigative Service noted that prime sources of leads online include LinkedIn, TikTok, RedNote and Reddit.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard spun concern by career CIA officers into accusations of disloyalty against those officers, and indicated she wants to get rid of those who want to reduce the risks posed to national security.
